We currently are looking for both both research articles and literature reviews in all research areas of the psychology department (Behavioural Neuroscience, Cognitive, Clinical, Developmental, Health, and Social/Personality). We especially encourage students who have done directed studies or honour theses to submit their papers.
If you are interested in submitting, please read our Submission Guidelines. Also, feel free to check out our FAQ and Resources page for additional information.
All our submissions are handled through our online submission site.
When we receive your submission, your manuscript will be assigned to the appropriate section editor. Both the section editor and another undergraduate reviewer will do a blind review of your paper. These reviews, along with any needed consultation from the graduate student advisor and the Editor-in-Chief, will form the basis of the section editor's decision as to whether to accept your publication without major revisions, accept your publication pending revisions, or reject your manuscript for publication. In all three outcomes, you will receive comments from the reviews.
Once your paper has been accepted for publication all authors must complete our consent form within two weeks of acceptance.
Publication will occur annually in the Spring, and we publish both in print and online. Authors will be given the choice of whether they want their article appearing online or not. All primary authors will be given free copies of our printed publication.
