Emmett Harries
I am currently in my 4th year of an undergraduate degree at UBC where I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Family Studies. I am interested in public health policy with a keen interest in sexual health education and bettering sexual health outcomes. My research interests involve public sexual health literacy, relational development, and sexual well-being in relationships. In my free time I enjoy skiing, listening to new types of music, and exploring new areas. I am eager to contribute to this edition of the journal with the rest of the marketing team!
Nicole Peng
I am a 2nd year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology and intended to minor in Data Science at UBC. Though I am still exploring my academic interests, I am particularly drawn to counselling psychology and helping people to improve their mental well-beings. My hobbies outside of school includes watching cute animal videos, cooking, and making beaded jewelries. Excited to be a part of the UBCUJP marketing team!
Sarah Taneja
I am a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Psychology at UBC, and my research interests lie in Quantitative Psychology and Neuromarketing. I’ve also delved into research exploring the impact of technical jargon and consumers’ price perception and their likelihood to purchase need-based products! In the future, I hope to combine my knowledge of human emotions, consumer preferences, and data analysis to drive business growth across diverse sectors. Outside academics, I am an avid cricket enthusiast, enjoy swimming, and indulge in all things DIY. Excited to contribute to UJP’s marketing team!
Shereen Anand
I am a second year undergraduate student majoring in psychology and I intend to minor in speech sciences. I am particularly interested in clinical and health psychology and am excited to explore my interests further throughout my academic journey. Outside of school I really enjoy hiking, baking, and spending time with my dog.
